Background
The Ionising Radiation Support Group and Guidance Material Project is a project begun in mid 2010, for the purpose of improving the management and use of ionising radiation in the Australasian tertiary education sector. The Australasian University Safety Association (AUSA) has kindly awarded this project the 2010 AUSA Scholarship.
The project will:
- establish a collaborative network of ionising radiation users and other interested parties; and
- develop guidance material that:
- captures and retains relevant information efficiently;
- supports regulatory and organisational requirements; and
- enables an organisation to benchmark its activities and adopt best practice approaches.
For any queries about the project, please contact Steve Guggenheimer.

Respondents sought to this survey are those who have primary radiation management responsibility at AUSA institutions - ie. responsibility for the management of their institution's radiation management system.
The closing date for responses is 27 August 2010.
