Working remotely

Audience

University-wide - staff who are currently working remotely, interesting in working remotely in future and/or wanting additional information and curly questions answered so they are better equiped to provide guidance to their staff regarding working remotely.

Focus

This information sessions will focus the health and safety factors relating to working from remotely and coincides with new working remotely arrangements that will be launching shortly. The session intends to familiarise the audience with:

  • relevant sections of the Health & Safety website
  • current University requirements – such as procedures and processes
  • regulatory requirements
  • available guidance material

This is an informal with the first 10 to 15 minutes covering the above dot points, with the rest of the session open to questions.

Zoom enabled

Zoom will be available on the day for those who cannot attend in person. Details on how to join with Zoom are published on the Zoom meeting details page (requires university username and password).

HSMS Sessions background

Health & Safety Services are running a variety of sessions under the banner of “Understanding the Health and Safety Management System” (HSMS). These informal sessions are designed for Health and Safety Business Partners who provide day-to-day safety advice and support to local areas.

Each 1 hour session will cover a different safety topic relating to the University's HSMS to familiarise Health and Safety Business Partners. The first 10-15 minutes will cover the below dot points, with the rest of the session open to questions:

  • relevant sections of the Health & Safety website
  • current University requirements – such as procedures and processes
  • available guidance material
