Hazardous waste collection reminder

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Before disposing of hazardous waste, remember to check the waste stream is appropriate.

Our new hazardous waste contractors began on 1st October 2018. As part of the new hazardous waste contracts, the waste collection streams have changed.

Please be aware the current contractors do not incinerate clinical waste.

Clinical waste is destined for Hammermill and is placed in a yellow lid bin. If the waste requires incineration do not use a regular clinical waste container.

Waste requiring incineration must have an orange lid.
